Online Order Payment: Our site has a secure layer for your protection and we accept Mastercard, Visa, Discover, American Express an PayPal in our online store. Any credits will automatically apply to the next order placed.
Custom Order Payment: A 50% non-refundable deposit no less then 3 weeks prior to the event will be required to start work on your event. Payment in full is required within 1 week of the event.
Our caramels are made to order to ensure the freshest possible product. It won’t be luxuriously satisfying if it’s old and stale! If your order is requires a RUSH shipment please choose the express shipping option.
We ship via USPS and request a physical address for delivery.
When Will My Order Ship?
Because we want you to have the freshest caramels possible, please allow three (3) days for us to mail out your order. We ship Monday through Friday, so if you place an order on Friday after 3pm,Saturday or Sunday, Day 1 is Monday.
How are Shipping Costs Calculated? Shipping costs are based on the weight of your purchase and your zip code.
We're linked directly into the Post Office so the price you see is the price you would pay if you took a package to the Portsmouth Post Office and sent it to yourself.
IMPORTANT NOTE FOR SHIPPING DURING WARM WEATHER MONTHS: Caramel, as you know, is by its nature kind of sticky. Throw in some heat and humidity and they are not happy campers. Or rather, you might have to lick them off the wrapper if you don't take some measures to soothe their weary souls (although some people don't seem to have a problem licking the caramel from the wrapper. Sometimes, you just can't wait.)
That said, we still do ship during the warm months, but suggest the following:
* Upon receipt of your caramels, please put them in a refrigerator (or even freezer) for at least 10 minutes. This will give them a chance to fan themselves and reform into the candy you're expecting. If you take them straight from the refrigerator, they will be firm but "eat-able". If you take them from the freezer, we assume you'll notice they're, well, frozen. So please don't try to eat them directly from the freezer. We're not liable for you at that point! To make the most out of your experience, please let them come to room temp before opening them up (we know - it's hard to wait!). And keep them stored in a cool-ish place, out of direct sunlight.
Can I Pick Up My Order?
Tahana Confections' kitchen is located in Dover, NH. Pick up is available by appointment only. If you choose to pick up your order, an email will be sent to you requesting a pick up date and time.
Do You Offer Delivery Service?
Unfortunately, we do not offer delivery.
When the teleport machines are invented, we'll definitely look into it though!
